Big Azz

There really isn't much to this post but these ice creams deserve their own post!
On the road to Waitomo, heading south from Rotorua, is the Big Apple cafe. We had a pretty average steak from there after we got screwed by the Hobbit Motel.
However, just adjacent to the Big Apple cafe, on this long stretch of road, where there isn't much else, is a grocers that sells self-proclaimed "Big Azz ice creams". They are not exaggerating, these are the biggest ice creams we have ever seen. No junk either, just the good old Tip Top ice cream that you get everywhere in NZ. Ciaran is quite the ice cream connoisseur and even he was overfaced. Not that you have to be a connoisseur as the pictures speak for themselves. We got "2" scoops each by the way, for the princely sum of $3.90. If you know of anywhere doing a better deal, please let me know!!
