Sayulita Pueblo Magico

When I saw the sign in the town square with the designation "Sayulita Pueblo Magico", the inner cynic came out and I scoffed quietly to myself.

Well, 4 days on and I am totally sold. Es un pueblo mágico. There's no doubt about it. One of the guys in the dorm put it quite well today when he said that there's a vacuum in Sayulita. It gently lulls you in. I swear the ocean glistens gold in this part of the Pacific. I don't want to leave!

Bienvenida to lazy days. Everything has to be slow when the sun is blazing and it's a constant 90% humidity. Life here goes in the following cycle: eat, sleep, surf, repeat. I'm the proud owner of a surfer tan, and a serial siesta taker. I did manage to get out on a dive to Islas Marietas, which was good if not slightly chilly, as we didn't dive in a wetsuit (my first time!).

I've met some great people here too. I'm staying at "The Amazing Hostel" and it is a just name.
