Why Qantas is so much better than British Airways.

We flew economy with both BA and Qantas. Our whole trip to Australasia was with Qantas and our 11 hour trip to Mexico was with BA. Just a few observations:

Qantas staff actually smile when they greet you.
Qantas give you a nice little menu when your journey begins.
Qantas in flight entertainment starts immediately. BA in flight entertainment starts an hour into your flight.
Qantas give you clean blankets as opposed to stained ones.
Qantas staff seem genuinely enthused when answering any queries or requests, instead of telling you that they're "just having lunch, so you'll have to come with me and get it yourself".
Qantas toilets are clean and always have toilet paper in them.
You don't spend your whole time freezing on a Qantas plane.
Qantas offer drinks and snacks or fruit throughout the flight.
Qantas don't run out of alcohol after 3 hours.
If Qantas did, they would probably offer an apology.
